Horyzon v1.2: Thesis Spotlight, Share Cards, and Home Screen Widgets

Horyzon v1.2 turns your investment theses into shareable cards, adds a thesis spotlight view, a home screen widget, transaction management, and Brazil market support.

Horyzon v1.2 is about putting your investment theses front and center.

Version 1.1 brought more context around individual holdings: earnings, press releases, performance attribution. Version 1.2 shifts focus to the thesis itself. You can now see your theses as large visual cards, share them, and keep your top conviction on your home screen.

Thesis Spotlight

The theses screen now has a spotlight mode. Instead of a compact list, you can swipe through your theses as full-size cards. Tap any card to expand the details: exit conditions, how it connects to your Horyzon goal.

It changes how you review your positions. A list is efficient, but a card makes you actually read what you wrote. You notice when a thesis feels outdated or when your conviction has quietly shifted.

The toggle between list and spotlight is in the screen header. Both views stay in sync.

Thesis Share Card

Any thesis can now be shared as a designed card. The share card has an aurora glow background, conviction dots, hold period, and subtle Horyzon branding at the bottom.

Most of the time when people share investments online, they share a ticker or a price target. The reasoning behind the position is usually missing. The share card is designed to flip that: your thesis is the headline, not the stock price. It makes sharing feel more like expressing a view than announcing a trade.

You can share directly to social media or copy the card to clipboard. Every shared card is a small, branded statement about why you own something.

Thesis Home Screen Widget

There is a new home screen widget that shows your top conviction thesis. At a glance, you can see which position you believe in most and at what conviction level.

This joins the existing portfolio value, Horyzon goal, and journey widgets. The thesis widget is medium-sized and works well alongside them.

Interactive Dashboard

The dashboard now has tappable conviction pills. Tap any pill to preview that thesis without leaving the screen. It is a small change, but it makes the dashboard feel more connected to your reasoning.

Transaction Management

You can now edit or delete transactions with swipe actions. Swipe left for edit, right for delete. The cost basis recalculates automatically.

This was a common request. Previously, fixing a typo in a transaction meant deleting it and re-entering everything. Now you can just edit in place.

Brazil Market

Brazilian stocks from Bovespa and the Real (BRL) currency are now available in Horyzon.

Combined with France from v1.1, Horyzon now covers the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Turkey, and Brazil. The app is slowly becoming more useful for investors who hold assets across borders.

What This Update Means for Horyzon

Horyzon is still centered on a simple idea:

Most trackers show what you own. Horyzon helps you remember why.

Product direction

The thesis is the core of Horyzon. Version 1.2 makes it more visible, more shareable, and present even when you are not inside the app.

Version 1.2 is the update where the thesis stops being a hidden note inside the app. It becomes something you see on your home screen, something you can share, something that feels worth writing well. That shift matters more than any individual feature.

If you are already using Horyzon, version 1.2 should feel like a natural next step. Your theses now have a proper stage.

If you are new to the app, Horyzon is an iPhone portfolio tracker for stocks, ETFs, crypto, commodities, and cash, built around investment theses, goals, progress, and AI insights shaped by your own reasoning.
